Hi there. I’m Jimmy.➡️ By profession, I’m an in-house lawyer who currently works at an ASX listed company and has previously worked in large Australian commercial law firms.➡️ By education, I graduated university with a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Laws and completed the NSW Higher School Certificate as a HSC All-round Achiever with a 99+ ATAR.➡️ For my personal finances, I have investments in residential property and ETFs.As a son to working class immigrant parents, I was born and raised in South Western Sydney. Growing up I never imagined (even in my wildest dreams) that I’d get to where I am today.During my journey through life, I have realised that:
➡️ discipline, work ethic and habits are important for the outcomes in one’s life - whether it’s in the context of one’s finances, career/business, education or other personal pursuits. I believe that the greatest version of a person is the one that is the most disciplined and motivated in all areas of their life; and
➡️ there is information asymmetry between young people of different academic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Access to information is the great equaliser.
